This fellowship in partnership with UAL Creative Computing Institute (CCI) offers a unique development and commission opportunity for an artist who is looking to explore the ways in which computational systems can be used as part of a critical practice exploring social, ecological, or environmental questions.
Specifically aimed at artists who have an established practice and would like to deepen their engagement with contemporary computing technologies, selection was made following an open call by a panel involving academics and cultural professionals.
Fellowship recipient Louis Morlæ will receive practical and technological support over a 12-month residency across both Somerset House Studios and UAL Creative Computing Institute to develop a new experimental work which will be presented at Somerset House in Autumn 2024.
