Volunteering
Do you have an interest in museums, galleries, history, public events or the arts?
Are you interested in becoming a part of the Somerset House team? Could you give some time?
Volunteers are vital to what Somerset House has to offer, contributing in a range of projects across the site, including: educational workshops for all ages, an information desk, family events, public events, giving public talks, escorting groups around the site and administrative support, planning and preparation.
You decide the time that you give, we ask for your commitment and reliability. If you would like to join us and feel you are able to commit to regular volunteering, there are many exciting projects and prospects for you.
Free Time Volunteers
Active, enthusiastic, crowd-friendly volunteers are urgently needed to assist at Free Time 2008 (Friday 15 to Monday 18 August).
Free Time is 4 days of FREE art, dance, theatre and music related activities for children and families that take place in the courtyard of Somerset House, its galleries and Learning Centre.
Volunteers can help with workshops, story-telling and treasure-trail activities. Sessions are 10:00 to 18:00
