Half Term at Somerset House

Holiday Drop-ins are suitable for families with children of all ages; children must be accompanied by an adult. If the workshop is full, families are welcome to wait until spaces become available, and the activity lasts about half an hour. Meet in the Learning Centre, Embankment level, South Building.

Please note these activities are for families, and are not suitable for play-schemes.

 

These art and design challenges offer a taste of how artists and designers work in a studio setting. Practical all-day workshops take place in a friendly environment with support from professional arts practitioners.

Children aged 5 and under and their families are warmly welcomed at our Mini Make Believe workshops. Come on an exciting adventure with drama games, craft activities and storytelling that will take you from the deepest jungles to the furthest reaches of space. It takes an hour to complete the activity.
