Somerset House has elegant rooms, sweeping staircases, atmospheric lightwells, terraces, a spectacular courtyard and all manner of interesting nooks and crannies.
We welcome inquiries and requests from various productions, including feature films, fashion shoots, television dramas, commercials, documentaries and interviews.
Facilities
With a central London location and accessible from Waterloo and Charing Cross, Somerset House has long been popular with location managers. We can offer outstanding facilities, including a trained and experienced security team, private on site parking, catering, a green room and flexible locations not open to the public providing privacy for the cast and crew.
Previous Filming and Photography
Somerset House has a wealth of experience hosting large and small productions including; The Duchess (2008), Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes, Stephen Poliakoff's 1939, The Culture Show (BBC) and fashion shoots for Marks & Spencer and Paul Smith.
