Seamen's Hall
Stately elegance, iconic views
Available for evening hire
The historic Seamen's Hall has been at the heart of Somerset House since its beginnings as the nerve centre of the nation's naval power in 1789.
Linking The Edmond J. Safra Fountain Court and the River Terrace, and flooded by natural daylight from both sides, the Seamen's Hall combines the elegance of classical columns and black and white marble floors.
This space offers an air of expansive grandeur for evening events with the ability for guests to enjoy al fresco entertaining on our River Terrace, a section of which is included in the Seamen's Hall hire.
