Frontline: A Year of Journalism & Conflict focused on four of the major stories of 2011: the Egyptian revolution, Syria, the Libyan conflict and the UK riots. This multimedia exhibition offered a unique insight into the editorial, political and human aspects of news reporting.

The exhibition featured live news reports from the stories as they happened and stills taken from Sky News HD footage. iPads throughout the exhibition gave visitors access to background interviews with the journalists, editors and producers who worked on breaking the story as well as timelines, maps and photo galleries.

The exhibition highlighted the dilemmas facing news organisations in authenticating and broadcasting often deeply disturbing images to the public.
