Museums at Night
Ahead of International Museums Day, Somerset House will be joining other leading national galleries and museums in celebrating Museums at Night.
Sound artist-in-residence Jacob Thompson-Bell presents a celebration of Somerset House's rich sonic history. This evening-long installation of live 'incantations' on Bach's Cello Suite in G featuring two violas, two cellos, five micro cassette recorders and a selection of hand bells will travel through the building, transforming the spaces as the building 'sings its past.'
