Museums at Night
Ahead of International Museums Day, Somerset House will be joining other leading national galleries and museums in celebrating Museums at Night.
Taking this year’s theme of 'science and nature' we are offering an evening packed with free activities. Explore architectural genius Nicholas Hawksmoor in the exhibition Methodical Imaginings, discover the crafts of perspective and typography in our workshops, or enjoy music in the Seamen’s Hall. If intrigue’s your thing, join the adults-only tours to learn how the shadier side of the building’s history brought progression and change.

Whether you're joining us for Museums at Night, or just passing through, take the opportunity to enjoy FLIGHT, a classically-trained and innovative new flute duo who have performed internationally and with musicians including. Katherine Jenkins and Jamie Cullum.
