at Origin

Origin: The London Craft Fair returns from 7-19 October 2008. A true celebration of the unique and the hand-made, Origin is an opportunity to buy from the UK's finest contemporary craft makers.

This annual Crafts Council event brings together over 300 of the most innovative and influential international designer-makers. Each week presents around 150 makers across all disciplines including ceramics, textiles, furniture and jewellery, and there will be late-night shopping opporutnities.

Objects on show range from fashion accessories to functional and decorative objects, with the opportunity to commission one-off works of contemporary craft.

Origin takes place in an elegant and modern pavilion designed by Ben Kelly within the beautiful setting of the Edmond J. Safra Fountain Court at Somerset House.

Origin will open at Somerset House from 7 to 12 and 14 to 19 October 2008.
