Receptionist (maternity cover)
Somerset House Trust is seeking a receptionist to join the Residents team with joint responsibility for the daily management of our main business receptions and internal meeting room hire. We are looking for someone with previous experience working within a multi-tenanted office building and with creative and arts organisations. You will work within the Residents team, responsible for managing the relationship of 135 organisations based at Somerset House, as well as working closely with Visitor Experience, contractors and wider Somerset House teams.

Contract type: Full-time, fixed term (12 month contract from January 2020)

Business Development Manager – Commercial Events (maternity cover)
Somerset House Trust is seeking a Business Development Manager (maternity cover) to join the Commercial Events department. This role will help continue to increase awareness of venue hire opportunities at Somerset House and increase revenue through proactive and reactive sales.

Key responsibilities will include new business development, event sales, marketing and relationship development. The ideal candidate will have a background working in events, with sales experience preferably in a unique venue or listed building.

Contract type: Full-time, fixed-term (6-8 months)
Start date: 03 February 2020
Salary: £28,000 - £33,000
