Vacancy for Resident Coordinator (Maternity Cover)
Somerset House Trust is seeking a Resident Coordinator to act as a point of contact for general resident enquiries from existing and prospective residents.

Contract type: Fixed-Term Maternity Cover: 10 – 12 months
Salary: circa £28,000 per annum

Vacancy for Visitor Experience Supervisor
Somerset House Trust is seeking a Visitor Experience Supervisor to join the Visitor Experience department with specific responsibility of managing the day to day operations of our paid and free exhibitions and some of our smaller scale events.

Contract type: Casual 
Salary: £11.55 per hour plus accrual of holiday entitlement

Vacancy for Accounts Assistant, Payables
Reporting to the Business Services Manager, this role will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of a comprehensive accounts payable function, as well as key controls including control account reconciliations, demonstrating high standards of process performance, accuracy, innovation and customer service.

Contract: Permanent - full time (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum

Vacancy for Retail Supervisor
Somerset House Trust is seeking a Retail Supervisor to join with specific responsibility for assisting the Retail Management team in managing the retail outlets at Somerset House. The role requires you to have experience of retail management, preferably in a cultural or gallery-based environment. You will be a passionate advocate of exemplary customer service and have a hands-on management attitude, with excellent people management skills that serve to enthuse and inspire the entire team. You will also be a resourceful team member, able to think on your feet and problem-solve effectively.

Contract type: Fixed-term casual worker (to 31 March 2020)
Salary: £11.55 per hour, plus accrual of holiday entitlement

Vacancy for Retail Assistant
Retail Assistants are responsible for the daily management of both the temporary exhibition shops and the permanent retail outlet, Somerset House Shop. This includes cash handling, visual merchandising, stock management and excellent customer service. They must have previous experience working within a retail environment and an interest in books, literature, art and design. They will report to the Retail Department, working closely with the Buying & Merchandising Manager & Somerset House Shop Manager and wider Somerset House teams.

Contract type: Permanent casual
Salary: £10.55 per hour, plus accrual of holiday entitlement

24/7 Freelance Tour Guide Commission
This brief is for freelance tour guides to deliver guided tours of the exhibition 24/7, to pre-booked groups from corporate clients and learning contacts.

Somerset House Trust is looking for a Digital Technologist to join our board of trustees. Not only does Somerset House Trust rely on IT for the day-to-day smooth running of the organisation, much of Somerset House is occupied by a creative community and they and our visitors depend on the IT infrastructure that we provide.
