Somerset House invites visitors to party the night away with the ultimate New Year’s Eve celebration. At the centre of the party, visitors can skate to their favourite party tunes and roof raisers on one of London’s most spectacular ice rinks, and celebrate the midnight moment on Somerset House’s River Terrace, with views of the Mayor of London’s world-famous fireworks display.​

Set within the glorious surroundings of the neo-classical courtyard, New Year’s Eve at Somerset House with Moët & Chandon will treat party goers to back-to-back sets from leading night life DJs from across the capital and beyond. Taking centre stage on Somerset House’s Portico Balcony overlooking the courtyard, Soho Radio take to the decks, kicking off the party with the latest club fillers to get visitors and skaters moving. With an unbeatable mix of pop bangers and crowd favourites, DJ, performer and Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK star Jonbers Blonde takes reigns of the decks through to midnight and into the early hours with a set celebrating pop icons, guaranteed to get visitors letting loose on the dancefloor. Over in the East Wing, Foundation FM hosts a house party-style space and bar, spinning the best and latest sounds from across the capital’s underground club scenes throughout the night.  ​

As the clock approaches midnight, guests are invited to go arm in arm with loved ones to watch the fireworks on Somerset House’s River Terrace. Set back from the crowds along the riverside, visitors can enjoy an exclusive view of the dazzling display, before heading back to celebrate the new year with closing DJ sets.

For those looking to dine their way into the new year, delicious food and drink upgrade packages will be available to purchase. Transporting guests to the Swiss mountains, Chalet Suisse by Jimmy Garcia, in partnership with Switzerland Tourism, will offer a special set menu of comforting festive favourites, from traditional and vegan fondue feasts with all the trimmings to indulgent desserts, with a glass of Moët Champagne and canapes to be enjoyed on arrival (pre-booking essential). Guests to Spring Restaurant can upgrade their booking to join the New Year’s Eve celebrations following the evening’s final dinner service (pre-booking essential via Spring). ​Celebrating authentic Indian flavours, Dipna Anand at Somerset House will also be open to the event's guests for sit-down dining, located in the South Wing (pre-booking recommended).

A range of other warming bites will be available to purchase across site to keep partygoers fuelled.  ​

Guests can toast the New Year with a glass of Moët & Chandon Champagne or winter cocktail, including Fireside Royale and Mulled Apple Spritz, whilst soaking up views of the ice rink in comfort and style at the elegant Skate Lounge by Moët and ChandonHotel Chocolat’s Chocmobile and Somerset House’s resident cafe WatchHouse will also be on hand with refreshments.   ​
