Dodge Visitor Safety Information

Your safety is our number one priority and we've taken a number of additional measures in light of Covid-19 to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable visit.  

We will continue to follow the guidance from the government and be responsive to any changes laid out. Please take time to read through these measures before you attend and make sure to read through your pre-event email which. will include any information or changes to the event if required.
 

Onsite safety: 

  • An NHS Test and Trace QR code will be visible at the entrance as well as on tables. Please scan and check in.
     
  • Access to the event is through the main entrance off the Strand. Other entrances may not be open due to COVID-19 measures. 
     
  • If you feel unwell, have been told to isolate or have any Covid-19 symptoms please stay at home. You may be refused entry if you are displaying symptoms of Covid-19.
     
  • Face coverings are mandatory in any inside spaces, as well as outdoor queue lines, and whilst on the dodgems, please wear unless you have an exemption. 
     
  • Consider others and maintain two metres social distancing.
     
  • Follow the one-way systems throughout the site, which have been designed to help with social distancing.  
     
  • Capacity control will be in place across the site. Please be patient with our staff while waiting in a queue as this is for the safety of everyone on site.  
     
  • We are a cashless site to avoid unnecessary touchpoints.  
     
  • Hand sanitiser and hand washing facilities will be available throughout the Courtyard.  
     
  • To minimise contact, no cloakroom facilities will be available. Avoid bringing large bags as we cannot store them for you.  
     
  • Toilets are located at the south end of the courtyard and a one-way system will be in operation. 

 

Table Safety: 

  • On arrival through the Strand entrance, you will show your tickets to a Visitor Experience Staff member who will connect you with your host who will take you to your table, brief you on visit regulations and explain how to use the ordering app. 
     
  • Tables are sanitised between every use.
     
  • All orders will be placed with our team or via app. 
     
  • Tables are pre-allocated and have a maximum capacity of 6. Current guidance is that tables are not permitted to mix, but we will respond to the changes laid out by the government road map.
     
  • We love our DJs and a boogie, but unfortunately no dancing is permitted in line with current government guidelines. Please enjoy the music seated at your table.  
     
  • You will be encouraged to be stay seated while consuming food and drink.
     
  • Last orders are 30 minutes before the advertised closing time and the app functionality is turned off at this time.  

 

Dodgems Safety:

  • Dodgems will be cleaned in between every use.
     
  • You may only share a dodgem if you are from the same household.
     
  • With every table booking one dodgem token per person will be included, you will receive the token to access the dodgems when you arrive at your table and you can ride at any point during your visit.
     
  • Height restriction for dodgems is 1.1m accompanied by an adult or 1.3m unaccompanied. The height guides will be displayed at the dodgem entry point. If any members of your party are below the height restrictions another member of the party can use their dodgem token.
     
  • Face coverings are required on the dodgems and the queue to the dodgems, unless exempt.
