WHAT TO EXPECT AS A MENTOR

This programme sets out to empower Black businesses to thrive and drive towards success through the powerful practice of mentoring. Over 6-months, you will have the opportunity to take part in the following:

Anyone can be a mentor and so can you. Make yourself available to be matched with businesses on the Black Business Residency.
Phase 2 GET MATCHED WITH A MENTEE BUSINESS
We will pair you with a business that aligns with your skills and expertise.

If you are not paired with a mentee this time through the Black Business Residency, you will be included on Mentor Black Business' wider mentor register and you will still have the opportunity to participate in the Change Maker Programme if you'd like.
Phase 3 CHANGE MAKER PROGRAMME TRAINING
Partake in 6-months of online training to help you provide effective mentorship. The programme will also address anti-racism and inclusivity to allow you to develop a resilient & adaptable culture and ultimately become a leader of change.
Phase 4 MENTOR A BUSINESS
Use our Mentorship training guide to navigate you through mentoring a business. The guide will help you and your mentee business document milestones and stay on track as you progress through the 6-month programme.
