Creative Job Studio: FILM Event

Thu 22 Aug 2019
15.00 - 19.00
Great Arch Hall
South Wing

Creative Job Studio: FILM will bring young filmmakers and film enthusiasts together with established industry professionals to share work and ideas.

Our Creative Job Studio: FILM event on Thursday 22 August is bringing young filmmakers and film enthusiasts (18-25 year olds) together with established industry professionals at Somerset House to share work, discuss ideas and investigate themes explored in the major new exhibition celebrating the past 50 years of Black creativity in Britain and beyond, Get Up, Stand Up Now! Generations of Black Creative Pioneers.

We are also looking for innovative young filmmakers to submit their short films for the chance to be screened at this FILM event. We particularly encourage applications from people from under-represented backgrounds. If you are interested in a career in the film / screen industries, this event is a great way to hear the inside voices working within the industry today.

Expect to meet creative professionals and peers, build your network, gain advice and leave inspired!
