Take a free tour through the many blockbuster film shoot locations across Somerset House, and hear behind-the-scenes anecdotes and insights.

Bookings are essential, and you must have a ticket to the evening's corresponding film.

This tour is available only to ticket-holders for that evening’s Film4 Summer Screen feature film and you will need to present a valid ticket to enter the site.

A London landmark with neoclassical architecture, Somerset House has been used for many major film and TV shoots including Suffragette, The Duchess, Love Actually and Mary Poppins Returns.

On film, Somerset House often plays itself is at times transformed into Buckingham Palace, a Victorian palace, or a stately home, and has even been used as a 1799 New York street scene (in Sleepy Hollow).

On this tour you’ll get to see hidden locations including the dungeon-like Deadhouse, and the underground Lightwells – where the building’s 19th century architecture stretches as far as the eye can see, making it a popular choice for film shoots.

Bookings are essential as there a limited capacity of 20 people per night.
