Photo London 2022 Talks | Sun 15 May

Overseen by renowned author, curator, professor, and museum director William A. Ewing, the Photo London Talks Programme presents a strong line-up of speakers for its 2022 edition.

Providing listeners with a unique insight into some of the world’s most exciting voices in the medium, expect to hear lively talks, debates and discussions to broaden – and deepen – your understanding of photography.  

For the 2022 edition, there is a mixture of online and on-site talks.

On-site talk tickets cost £9.50 (special fair offer, all talks now £5.00!) These can be booked via the Somerset House website. Nikon talks are free of charge however booking in advance is strongly advised. Please note, talk tickets do not include admission to the Fair, you must have a day ticket to attend the talk. All on-site talks will take place in the Screening Room.

Nikon Presents: SHOTBYWOMEN – Breaking industry bias by providing content from the Female Perspective
Highlighting the significance of the female gaze in photography, this panel discussion is hosted by Tabatha Fireman, founder of the all-female photo agency ‘Female Perspective’ and newly launched content library ‘SHOTBYWOMEN’. Nikon shooters Scarlet Page, Shirlaine Forrest, Linda Wride and Stella Scordellis talk about their own experiences as women photographing in the fields of Music, Sport and Abstract Architecture.

Kaizen – A journey of continuous improvement by Jeaniq Amihyia
Jeaniq lives by a simple mantra ‘Kaizen’ – a Japanese motivational method translating to ‘Continuous improvement’. In this talk Jeaniq will take listeners on a journey through his career and how he has implemented this mantra into the essence of his work.
