VAULT STUDIO

RESIDENCY SPACE FOR NON-LONDON BASED ARTIST BURSARY & EARLY-CAREER ARTIST BURSARY

Located beneath Waterloo bridge, the vaults are self-contained flexible spaces located in the basement of the New Wing of Somerset House, each with an upper and a lower floor (these residencies will be based in the lower floor). Vaults are unfurnished (but we can provide a desk and a chair if required) and available as a shared studio split 50/50 between these two bursary opportunities. Each vault floor has a sink and spaces are suitable for messy work.

A ground floor vault studio will be shared 50/50 between the Non-London Based Artist bursary residency and the Early-Career Artist bursary residency.

Residents have 24-hour access to studios and this bursary also includes services, heating, electricity, internet and cleaning.

Access: There is level access to Maker Street via lifts within the building from ground floor level, however there is a single step into each Vault. Reasonable adjustments for special accessibility requirements or adaptations can be reviewed as needed.
