The Young Talent Fund supports the next generation of early career creatives and artists to fulfil their potential. Funds raised help Somerset House to provide bursaries and financial relief to artists struggling to afford to be in residence and provides opportunities to young under-represented people aged 18-25 seeking to get into the creative sector through our Upgrade Yourself programme.
Upgrade Yourself offers digital training, networking, upskilling and a pioneering London Living Wage paid industry placement scheme, all of which aims to unlock career pathways whilst diversifying the future workforce of the creative industries. Somerset House is an independent charity which does not receive regular public funding and is home to the UK largest creative community.
