Donnie Sunshine’s DJ sets transcend genres, sliding effortlessly through an array of musical eras and sounds, reintroducing forgotten cult classics, as well as debuting current niche selections, all the while keeping the energy high and the vibes euphoric.
The multi-genre, multidisciplinary creative from Hackney by way of Guyana and St Lucia has been immersed in music since childhood, growing up with a mother as a DJ and a grandfather with an extensive record collection. From working on the club circuit with sets at beloved nights like Queer Bruk to accompanying R&B powerhouse Flo and Skepta on tour, Donnie has made a name for himself. They also run a brand/club night called To The Left, an ethereal wonderland scored by alt R&B / hip hop, future beats, progressive soul, alte, vogue, electronic, disco & hidden gems.
