Party your way into 2020 as Somerset House teams up with House Gospel Choir to throw the ultimate New Year’s Eve party.
London’s most beautiful ice rink will come alive with an electrifying night of the biggest house and gospel tunes performed by the House Gospel Choir with a full band, and DJs across the site. A hit at festivals all over the UK, House Gospel Choir’s notorious live shows are sure to have you singing and dancing as the clock strikes twelve.
With exclusive access to Somerset House’s River Terrace, you'll also have a glorious view of the Mayor of London's fireworks as the capital's skyline lights up to welcome in the New Year. There’ll also be pop-up eateries and bars on offer, including Fortnum’s Lodge and Skate Lounge, home to the Baileys Treat Bar.
Whether you choose to skate or just watch the spectacle, join us to party with the House Gospel Choir crew until the early hours.

There is limited seating within each of the food and drink outlets across the site.
Doors open at 20.00. Access to the venue is open throughout the evening, but no re-entry is permitted.
Fortnum's Lodge will serve its full menu until 22.00 and bar snacks 22.00 - 23.00.
We will have enhanced security checks on-site.
This is an outdoor event, so please dress appropriately for all weather conditions; if you are skating, wear practical clothing. Fancy dress is permitted as long as it is not impractical and does not pose any risk to yourself or others.
Please do not bring any food or drinks with you as these items will not be permitted.
Please do not bring large bags (over A3/30cm x 42 cm and above) with you.

What time should I arrive for the New Year’s Eve event?
All ticket holders (skaters and spectators) are advised to arrive by 20.00 at Somerset House and to check their journey before travelling.
The surrounding roads will be closed to all traffic including buses ahead of the event. Victoria Embankment will close at 14.00 and Waterloo Bridge is closed to pedestrians from 16.00 and to vehicles from 19.30.
Public transport services usually run all night on NYE. To confirm travel information prior to the event please visit www.tfl.gov.uk or call the 24-hour Travel Information Line 020 7222 1234. You are strongly advised not to drive into Central London on NYE.
