Cute Relaxed Sessions

Sat 16 Mar 2024, 18.30-20.00
Fri 05 Apr 2024, 10.00-11.30

We are hosting two Relaxed Sessions for anyone who would like to explore Cute in a calm and comfortable and environment, including people with autism and other neurodiverse needs, as well as their siblings, families and carers. These will be held on Saturday 16 March from 18.30-20.00 and Friday 05 April from 10.00-11.30.

To ensure that the exhibition is as welcoming and calm as possible, we:

  • Limit the number of visitors in the session
  • Turn off/lower any AV in the space. However, we will share the soundtrack in the Pre-visit email to the Hello Kitty disco for you to experience and listen to in your own time and space
  • Run regular disability awareness sessions with our staff
  • Provide a visual story to help you plan your visit, available here.
  • Have Access Packs available at the Cute Box Office which contain Large Print Guides, Noise Cancelling Headphones, a copy of the Visual Story which is available here, Magnifying Glasses and a stress ball
  • Provide a safe space/calm room to help assist visitors who may be overwhelmed due to the new environment

For any questions about these sessions, please contact visitor@somersethouse.org.uk or for general ticketing enquiries please call +44 (0)333 320 2836. Lines are open between 09.00 - 18.00 - Mon-Fri, 10.00 - 18.00 - Sat, Sun and Bank Holidays.
