From French knot and back stitch embroidery to learning how to ply yarn, each method can be used to revive, reinforce and bring decorative interest to knitwear pieces.
Knitwear fabric samples and yarns will be provided but you are welcome to bring along your own knitted piece to work on. This workshop is suitable for beginners and tickets cost £15.
All ticket sales will be donated to the Somerset House Young Talent Fund. This provides bursaries and financial relief to artists, as well as opportunities for under-represented people aged 18-25 seeking to get into the creative sector.
