In this workshop, Molly will show you how to repair and restore your beloved homeware textiles – whether it’s a fraying pillowcase, a torn tea towel or simply a linen garment that needs some care.
Using patches made from reclaimed materials, Molly will demonstrate how to mend both small and large holes and tears using traditional techniques, inspired by Indian kantha stitching and Japanese sashiko repair. This workshop is suitable for beginners. Tickets cost £15.
All ticket sales will be donated to the Somerset House Young Talent Fund. This provides bursaries and financial relief to artists, as well as opportunities for under-represented people aged 18-25 seeking to get into the creative sector.
