Voice of the Stateless

By exploring positive stories about refugees, we can better empathise with stateless people and understand the privileges of our lives. Giving stateless people a voice to contribute and share stories is crucial in a world that only acknowledges people who ‘belong’ to a state. The Better Shelter allows visitors to get up close to what the reality of a refugee life is like. By sharing a single, powerful story from each partner organisation, and tying them together through a common narrative, visitors will be able to walk through the same emotional states that displaced people go through.
