Be captivated by performers from The Cocoa Butter Club as they roam Somerset House’s stunning courtyard and River Terrace throughout the night. The first company of its kind, the club’s spellbinding shows ‘where the melanated are celebrated’ specifically showcases cabaret performers of colour.
You can skate your way into 2024 on our beloved ice rink, with specially curated mixes from acclaimed DJs amplifying the party atmosphere. Just off the courtyard, our exhibition Makeversity: Designing for the Real World will also be open for you to explore.
The Cocoa Butter Club will also takeover the Lancaster Rooms for limited, first-come, first-served performances bursting with song, circus, burlesque, pole, drag and extravagance led by the warm and witty, velvet-toned Sadie Sinner The Songbird. Featured performers include Zaki Musa, Donna Divine, Sunny The SnakeBoy, Darkwah and The Cocoa Butter Club Kittens, Miss Cocoa Amore & The Goddess Gina.
As the clock approaches midnight, go arm in arm with loved ones to watch London’s New Year’s Eve firework display on Somerset House’s River Terrace. Set back from the crowds along the riverside, you can enjoy an exclusive view of the dazzling display before heading back to celebrate the new year with a DJ set from Bushbby, who explores the sounds and roots of Latin American music.
