Performances, DJ sets and art from ESEA Sisters, the collective creating space for women, trans*, non-binary & genderqueer folks of East and Southeast Asian heritage.

ESEA Sisters stage a takeover of our courtyard, hosting a curated evening of performances, DJs and art – the perfect way to kickstart your weekend.


  • Oh Annie Oh, a Seoul born, Toronto bred and London based DJ, radio presenter and club promoter
  • Welsh DJ of French and Japanese descent Shyko who brings together an eclectic blend of genres from East to West
  • DJ, artist, writers and performer Enxi who favours breakbeat-heavy mixes
  • Rahel who will play tracks inspired by her Indonesian cuisine and community
  • Musician and singer-producer Lila Yin,
  • Hong Kong British queer artist and musician Mui Zyu
  • Embroidery artist Nicole Chui
  • Artist and illustrator Melissa Kitty

Part of This Bright Land’s Weekend Warm-ups, where leading DJ collectives and creative initiatives takeover our magnificent courtyard as the sun sets and day turns to night. These curated performances sounds and festivity celebrate cultures and communities from across the capital.

Booking your ticket

This Bright Land is all about platforming communities and artists and creating an open, inclusive, and welcoming space for everyone to celebrate together. We've created a range of ticket prices to keep these events as open as possible, to as many people as possible.  

We’ve made tickets affordable with prices starting at £5 to ensure This Bright Land is open to all. We have: 

  • Free tickets available for NHS workers and Job Seekers 
  • £5 tickets available to those who are disabled, children, those receiving a pension and audiences who might otherwise be unable to attend.  
  • Standard tickets at £10.00
  • Backer tickets at £15.00

If you can afford to pay for a backer ticket at £15.00, we would really encourage you to do so. These tickets are directly contributing to keeping prices low for those who otherwise wouldn't be able to come.
