Studio Spaces & Facilities
Somerset House Studios is housed in the New Wing of Somerset House. This Grade I listed building remodelled the old Admiralty residences to create Inland Revenue offices in the mid-nineteenth century. The Studios uphold this heritage in their refurbishment, offering flexible workspace across shared and solo studios. Access is 24 hours a day, with residents also able to use shared social spaces for meetings, eating and socialising. This includes the refurbished former Inland Revenue recreation space, the Snooker Rooms, with a kitchen, snooker table, darts boards, screening, and DJ facilities.
Prices include services, heating, electricity, internet, and cleaning. Studios are unfurnished, except for those who occupy a desk in a shared studio, where a desk and chair are provided.
