Admission to Somerset House is free, but you currently need to book in advance for exhibitions and events.

The Edmond J. Safra Fountain Courtyard will be operating with strict social distancing measures in place, and we will be managing capacity to ensure visitors can enjoy the fountains safely.

* Our gallery and exhibition spaces sometimes open late for exhibitions and special events. The Edmond J. Safra Court is occasionally closed for concerts, film screenings and other special events.

The Courtauld Gallery
The Courtauld Gallery will be closed from September 2018 for a major redevelopment project, Courtauld Connects. This ambitious project will see the transformation of the Gallery and its services.
