This includes bursaries, mentoring and our public platform.

Somerset House Exchange Bursaries

Exchange offers bursary memberships with up to 75% off rates to people who may face barriers in terms of access and opportunity in the creative and cultural sector.

Makerversity Opportunities

Makerversity is a dynamic brand committed to inspiring and supporting makers, as well as fostering innovation communities in major cities worldwide. With a membership of over 300 entrepreneurs, creators, and innovators, Makerversity is at the forefront of design, engineering, and digital practice. These member companies are devoted to developing groundbreaking solutions for various global challenges, including climate change, health, and inequality. Makerversity provides its early-stage teams with specialised prototyping facilities, affordable workspace, and a comprehensive business support platform.

Makers Under 30's Programme

Every three months Makerversity offer free membership to makers under 30 years old (or there abouts), providing the tools and space to develop a business. Membership includes desk space, workshops, fabrication facilities, events and a whole host of other benefits. This free membership programme runs for three months. After that, we offer 50% off membership for 9 months.

Makers with a Mission

The Makers with a Mission programme supports 20 designers each year who have a world changing design, prototype or businesses with 6 months free membership for an individual or a team of up to 3.

Black Makers and Designers Residency

Makerversity is launching the Black Designers and Makers Residency. A programme designed to offer long term support, space and resources to Black designers, makers, creatives and innovators.
