Decked out in retro ski memorabilia, twinkling fairy lights, (fake) fur and warm wood, The Chalet is a charming, festive experience.

Indulge in freshly cut raclette. Each table is decked out with a raclette machine to serve yourselves DIY style, so it’s fresh every, single time. Just like in The Alps! It’s served with charcuterie, buttered new potatoes, in-house freshly baked bread, cornichons and salad.

A tipple or two will keep you toasty, with mulled wine and mulled cider on offer.

The Chalet’s menu is carefully curated by Jimmy Garcia and inspired by his own Alpine experience. Jimmy ran ski chalets in the Alps delighting guests with delicious food after their days on the slopes. The Chalet brings that same comforting Alpine hospitality to the Somerset House.

The following food and drink packages can be pre-booked when purchasing your ice-skating tickets. All packages are designed for effortless sharing and will be ready for you at your booked time slot.

Raclette & Skate Packages – Booking Information

Raclette packages are for a minimum of 2 people.

Please ensure you select the right combination of packages to match your group size.

Example: A party of 5 = 1 × Raclette for 2 + 1 × Raclette for 3.

Booking with Skating

If you book a skate package, your Raclette reservation will automatically be scheduled 15 minutes after your skating session ends. This allows time to change out of skates before joining us in the restaurant.

Hot Chocolate & Champagne Packages

Available in the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse only, unless you also book a Raclette package.

Table Policy

Tables are held for 15 minutes from your booking time. If you are running late, please call us. After 15 minutes without notice, we may release your table.

Booking Changes & Refunds

We do not ofer refunds on skate packages.

• Bookings can be moved if you contact us 24 hours or more in advance.
