Beano Family Workshops
Facilitated by artists Robert Sae-Heng and Kayleigh De Sousa, Somerset House proudly present our Beano family workshops, an exciting opportunity to strengthen your child’s literacy skills in fun, creative ways. The sessions will provide a playful space for creative imagination, and by the end of the workshop your children will be taking home their very own comic, as well as the skills to carry on their creative journeys.

These sessions are primarily designed for 8–12-year-olds, however there will be provisions for younger children such as creative tasks using craft materials if needed.
We have workshops running on Saturday 05 and Sunday 06 February 2022, taking place on both days at 10.00-13.00, and 14.00-17.00.
We have a limited capacity for these sessions, so are offered on a first come first serve basis. For the workshop, Somerset House has partnered with Gingerbread to ensure we’re able to offer a tour of the Beano exhibition – plus the workshop – exclusively to single-parent families from London and surrounding areas. Somerset House are also funding the travel of all workshop participants.
