This session will spotlight collaborative work with residents, communities, and local governments to co-design solutions to pressing challenges – from improving women’s safety in public spaces to inclusive, affordable communal eating spaces. Panellists will share how participatory research methods and creative engagements allow them to unlock valuable local knowledge and drive meaningful change with regard to sustainability and equity. Discover how design becomes a powerful tool for justice, regeneration, and prosperity when shaped jointly with communities. This is a conversation for anyone passionate about designing better urban futures, together.
