Somerset House residents Dartmouth Films present a special preview screening of Eating Animals, a new documentary based on the bestselling book by Jonathan Safran Foer.

Narrated by co-producer Natalie Portman, and directed by Christopher Quinn (God Grew Tired Of Us). Nearly all of the meat, eggs, and dairy we eat comes from the industrial system known as factory farming. This system destroys our environment and harms public health, and never before has humankind caused more suffering. Based on Jonathan Safran Foer's critically acclaimed book of the same name, EATING ANIMALS spotlights the heroic farmers, whistleblowers, and innovators who are standing up, against all odds, to fight this system and provide a new way forward.

Conversation following the film will include thoughts from Illtud Dunsford CEO & Co-Founder, Cellular Agriculture Ltd

Illtud is a Farmer, Agri-Food Consultant & former owner of Charcutier Ltd, a specialist meats business that won the BBC Food and Farming Award for Best Food Producer in the UK. He has worked across the supply chain with companies ranging from start-up street food businesses to leading food halls, Michelin starred restaurants and industrial meat multinationals.
