A collaboration with the Peanuts Global Artist Collective featuring three large-scale light installations by Californian art collaborative FriendsWithYou that illuminate the entrance to Good Grief, Charlie Brown!

Known for immersive installations and interactive artworks, FriendsWithYou is an art collective founded by Samuel Borkson and Arturo Sandoval III in 2002 and based in Los Angeles, California (USA).

Exploring ideas of interconnectedness their work creates personal and collective playful experiences through a variety of mediums ranging from painting and sculpture, to large-scale experiential installations, live performances and animation. As an artist collective they are particularly interested in using icons of popular culture as a means of exploring an empowering and optimistic world view. Working with Peanuts Worldwide to build upon the themes and characters from the Peanuts strip they have been inspired by the tradition of tackling emotional themes through accessible narrative and visual language.

FriendsWithYou have exhibited at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Buffalo; Art Basel in Miami Beach; Dallas Contemporary; Galerie Perrotin, New York; Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Berlin; The High Line, New York; The Hole, New York; The Indianapolis Museum of Art; Marine Projects, Los Angeles; Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara; and most recently at the Santa Monica Pier in Los Angeles.
