Few films have the immediate recognition factor of Jaws, but seeing Steven Spielberg’s Man v. Shark thriller on a big-screen places you right in the heart of the action, revealing new details, ratcheting up the tension and reminding you why audiences stayed away from the sea in droves when it was released in 1975. From the moment John Williams’ famous score kicks in at the start to the climactic boat-trip taken by Roy Scheider, Richard Dreyfuss and Robert Shaw, you’ll be caught hook, line and sinker.
