The National Saturday Club’s annual Summer Show is an inspirational showcase of the ideas, creativity and innovation of the nation’s next generation.

The Summer Show presents the work of 1,700 13-16 year-old National Saturday Club members who have been attending 94 Saturday Clubs at 68 universities, colleges and museums across the country, for free.

Each of the seven Saturday Club subjects – Art and Design, Craft and Making, Fashion and Business, Film and Media, Science and Engineering, Society and Change and Writing and Talking –
will be represented in an exhibition designed by Dallas-Pierce-Quintero and Studio Quercus.

The National Saturday Club Masterclasses Programme will also be celebrated at the Summer Show. Leading industry professionals and organisations have led special workshops for Saturday Club members throughout the year, including Arup, Alexander McQueen Studio, Dazed Media, English National Opera, Finisterre, Jason Bruges Studio, London Zoo, Pentland Brands, Pinewood Studios and Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

It’s a celebration of the year’s work, and amazing to be part of something that is so large, diverse and high profile

As a powerful, countrywide network of shared knowledge and best practice, the Saturday Club Trust represents an exceptional opportunity to build young people’s creative skills, emboldening them to become the next generation of innovators and imaginative thinkers. It also serves to connect educators and industry professionals, so young people are better informed about the choices that exist for further education and rewarding careers.
