Hailed as one of the capital’s favourite winter experiences, Skate at Somerset House signals the start of the festive period with unrivalled skating, contemporary music and tasty food and drink. From skating lessons with Skate School and our Relaxed Sessions, onwards to trailblazing DJs on the rink-side decks, there's something for everyone.

• Virgin Atlantic Holidays bring their signature special touches to the ice, including exclusive Skate sessions and a lounge-inspired Clubhouse with rink-side views.
• A series of rink-side takeovers at Skate Lates, featuring party-starting sets from Foundation FM, NTS legend Ruf Dug, queer dance collective Sue Veneers, and special sets from DJ Shortee Blitz and Studio Wayne McGregor.
• The Chalet by Jimmy Garcia to return with its signature raclette, joined for the first time by Blondies Kitchen with a bespoke menu including Mince Pie Cookie Cups.
• An ambitious artistic installation by artist Harold Offeh, transforming the ice rink into a communal canvas.
• A pop-up store, Shelter Boutique, brought to you by HSBC UK, stocking a handpicked selection of pre-loved items with all proceeds going to help the housing and homelessness charity.
