Established as a pirate in 2001, the station was awarded an Ofcom license in 2008 and has focused on building strong community roots, harnessing the creative disciplines of hip hop culture.

For their Skate Lates takeover, station manager DJ Dubz will take us through the sounds that have come to represent the station, which came up from the streets, and continues to deliver its mission: to build a positive broadcast community, pushing the boundaries of independent regional radio.
After you’ve been on the rink, sit back, warm up and enjoy a drink in the Skate Lounge, where you can continue to enjoy the atmosphere and music, or head to the Fortnum’s Lodge bar, where a range of cocktails are on offer throughout the evening.
