Survey Prize Draw

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Conditions of entry

1. The prize draw is open to Somerset House residents and previous Somerset House ticket bookers who have completed the survey. Employees of Baker Richards Consulting Ltd, volunteers and/or employees of Somerset House Trust and/or Somerset House Enterprises Limited, and any of their immediate families, are not eligible to take part in the prize draw.

2. The prize draw is operated by Baker Richards Consulting Ltd, Milton Hall, Ely Road, Milton, Cambridge, CB24 6WZ, as part of a research project commissioned by Somerset House Trust (SHT).

3. To enter the prize draw you must have completed the ‘Somerset House Days Out Survey’ by 22 April 2026, or the eventual closing date if the survey is extended. By submitting your survey responses you accept and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

4. Only submitted responses will be entered in the prize draw. Neither Somerset House Trust/Somerset House Enterprises Limited nor Baker Richards Consulting Ltd accept any responsibility for survey responses that are completed but not submitted. Please ensure you click the ‘Submit’ button at the bottom of the page.

5. The prize draw is free to enter.

6. Only one entry per person is allowed.

7. The winner will be the first entrant drawn at random by Baker Richards Consulting Ltd from all entries correctly submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions.

8. By providing your name and contact details for this prize draw, you warrant that the information you have submitted is correct and complies with these terms and conditions. Entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions will be deemed invalid. The prize

9. The prize will be a £500 One4All digital gift card. The gift card will be sent to the winner’s email address after the winner confirms to Somerset House Trust the winner’s name and email address.

10. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, excludes any additional costs and expenses, and no cash alternatives will be offered. The prize draw

11. Somerset House Trust will notify the winner no later than 8 May 2026 via the email address provided upon submission of the survey. Please check your spam/junk folder. Baker Richards Consulting Ltd and Somerset House Trust/Somerset House Enterprises Limited take no responsibility if reasonable efforts are made to contact the winner by email but these emails are caught in the recipient’s spam filter.

12. The winner must claim the prize within two calendar weeks (14 days) of receiving an email from Somerset House Trust. If the prize remains unclaimed after one calendar week (7 days), Somerset House Trust will send a follow up email to check that the original has been received. If the prize remains unclaimed after two calendar weeks (14 days) then the original winner will lose the right to claim the prize, and Baker Richards Consulting Ltd will draw a new winner at random from all entries correctly submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions.

13. Somerset House Trust reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal value if unforeseen circumstances beyond Somerset House Trust’s control make it necessary to do so.

14. The decision of Somerset House Trust regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into about it. Data protection and publicity

15. Somerset House Trust will only use your contact details for the purpose of contacting you about the prize draw. By submitting your name and email address, you consent to your personal data being used for the purposes of administering the prize draw.

16. We will not use your email address to contact you for any other reason, and your name and email address will not be shared with any third party.

17. Once the prize has been sent to the winner, all personally identifiable data will be deleted. The anonymous survey responses will be retained for the purposes of analysing the research findings in accordance with the data protection statement at the beginning of the survey.

18. Somerset House Trust must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place upon completion of the prize draw, in accordance with the Advertising Standards Authority’s promotional marketing rules. The surname and county of the winner will be published at https://www.somersethouse.org.uk/survey-prize-draw for 30 days after the closing date. The winner will be asked to provide the winner’s surname and county, but will be given the opportunity to object to this information being published. In such circumstances, Somerset House Trust must nevertheless still provide the information and winning entry to the ASA if challenged.

19. The prize draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by the law of England and Wales and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

20. Neither Baker Richards Consulting Ltd nor Somerset House Trust/Somerset House Enterprises Limited accepts any liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of either participating in the prize draw or being selected for a prize.

21. By entering the prize draw, you consent to the use of your personal data by Baker Richards Consulting Ltd for the purposes of administration of the prize draw in accordance with its privacy policy, and as set out in these Terms and Conditions, as well as your data being processed by the survey platform, Alchemer, in accordance with its privacy policy.
