Photo London fair features the world's most iconic photographers, leading photography galleries and publishers, alongside the most exciting emerging galleries and talents exhibiting in the Discovery section
In addition to the fair, Photo London’s visitors will be able to experience a rich programme of events including:
- Close Enough: Robert Capa, an exhibition of works by the great war reporter featuring over 50 rare prints and Capa’s own first Leica camera.Organised in collaboration with MESSUMS LONDON
- Master of Photography exhibition: Shirin Neshat, Land of Dreams, organised in collaboration with Goodman Gallery
- Emerging Photographer Award, organised in collaboration with Nikon, and exhibition
- Portfolio Reviews with the editorial team of the British Journal of Photography
- Photography workshops led by Nikon School
- A programme of artist talks running online and at Somerset House
- An exhibition of work by final year BA photography students from London’s leading art colleges, supported by The Stanley Foundation
In the Discovery section, London's emerging spaces Black Box Projects A.I. Gallery, Encounter Contemporary, Open Doors, SEAGER Gallery will present alongside US-based Marshall Contemporary (Los Angeles); Gudberg Nerger (Hamburg), EUQINOM Gallery (San Francisco) and Tintera (Cairo) among others.
In the Publishers section, Photo London is delighted to welcome new exhibitor Gost Book (London), Kehrer Verlag (Heidelberg), Hoxton Mini Press (London), Éditions Xavier Barral / Atelier EXB (Paris), Dewi Lewis Publishing (U.K.), Benrido Atelier (Kyoto) and Thames & Hudson (London).
In addition, Photo London presents a unique Public Programme, including special exhibitions by the Master of Photography 2020-21 Shirin Neshat, in partnership with Goodman Gallery, and Robert Capa, in collaboration with Messums; as a series of talks with Lee Friedlander, Thomas Walther, Adam Lowe, Nancy Burson, Lorenzo Vitturi, and more; the Emerging Photographer Award, a series of professional photography workshops realised in partnership with Nikon UK and portfolio reviews led by the British Journal of Photography.
Those who are unable to travel can still experience the fair online through Photo London Digital, which will run on artsy.com and photolondon.org from 09–28 September 2021.
