Join Eunice Olumide as she walks us through her illustrious creative career, and we ask what it takes to become a successful creative entrepreneur.

During this Inspiration session, Eunice will share how she has evolved and sustained her career outputs in the public eye; originally emerging as a fashion model in high-end editorial campaigns and on international runways to becoming a published author, actress, businesswoman, gallerist, presenter and producer whilst still retaining her title as a Brit supermodel.

In this session, we will hear some of Eunice’s motivations and ideas as a creative professional, and how she manages several projects and commitments at once whilst holding on to her values and integrity. Eunice has gained an international following of fans, peers, and big-name collaborators, having worked across radio, music, TV, film, fashion, theatre, and production, all while being a passionate activist and campaigner.

Much of Eunice’s career has focused on social justice and sustainability issues and she uses her various platforms to promote inclusive conversations, promoting activism and connecting social thinking. In 2017, Eunice was awarded an MBE as part of the Queens Honours list for services for her work in broadcasting, charity, and the arts, and in 2018, the V&A celebrated Eunice as a Design Champion for her work in design & production.

There will be a chance to ask Eunice questions during the live session via our host Jahnavi Inniss from the Future Producers programme at Somerset House, so please immerse yourself in this multidisciplinary insightful discussion.

About Jahnavi Inniss (Future Host)

Jahnavi studied for a BA in Graphic Communication Design at Central Saint Martins in London and graduated in 2020. Jahnavi often reflects on the role of designers, artists and curators and the direct influence they all have in the construction of social attitudes towards underrepresented groups of people. Jahnavi's practice is primarily focused on surfacing lesser-known narratives, dismantling 'single stories' and providing visibility and empowerment for underrepresented groups of people.

Jahnavi's process involves experimenting with and evaluating a wide range of mediums. In addition to design work, Jahnavi also curates, connecting objects and ideas, surfacing and presenting them in the most appropriate way to tell stories.
