Ed examines the invisible structures that shape identity—the habits, protocols, and narratives we inhabit—and how they often feel immutable. Through immersive simulations, role‑play, installation, sculpture, digital media, and performance, his work constructs alternative social realities to disrupt and remap those frameworks.”
Notable exhibitions and projects include The Dreamy Awards at the Serpentine Galleries in London, and Cel, presented at Carlos/Ishikawa, London, and the New Museum, New York. His large-scale role-play works Animal House (2011) and Dorm Daze further established his interest in collective social dynamics, while his work has also featured in group exhibitions at Schirn Kunsthalle in Frankfurt and HEK Basel in Switzerland. At Chisenhale Gallery, London, he presented Modern Family, and at the Palais de Tokyo, Paris, he organised the performance The Fortress of Solitude.
