As the performer moves, concealed elements of the costume will gradually be revealed, while beaded components create sound through movement. The performer will slowly shed layers of the costume before ascending an aerial silk and performing a spotlighted sequence that combines the spectacle of pop stardom with the intensity of spiritual ritual.

To begin the performance, writer and poet Nisha Ramayya will be reading poetry from her new body of work, exploring ideas of spirituality, ritual and critique.
