AGĀMA - the music project and alter ego of Singer, Composer, Producer and multi instrumentalist Cassandra Gurling. AGĀMA is an emotionally charged, musically rich fusion of Jazz, Electronica and Soul; referencing both European and Afro-Caribbean choral traditions. AGĀMA explores themes of expression, justice and empowerment through stylistic vocals very much influenced and inspired by the great female Jazz singers. They'll be bringing us a unique stripped back performance, with trumpet, sax and percussion accompanying Cassandra's soulful sound.

Producer, singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and DJ, Mwen, makes soulful electronic music. Her productions have been played on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6, XFM, NTS, Rinse FM, Sub FM, Juice FM, Radio Frequency Leeds, been supported by radio DJs including Rob da Bank, Mary Anne Hobbs and Tom Robinson and synced to TV and fashion film. She is also a co-founding member of Goldsnap, a DJ crew and training hub that also throws parties around London for queer people of colour

Nenah is a London-based, Ecuador-born and Stockholm raised singer-songwriter and producer. She creates alternative pop that draws and is melodically influenced by R&B. Nenah’s latinx identity is a vital part of her visuals and music, noting ‘it began as a form of self-therapy and self-acceptance’. This comes through in her music with spanish lyrics that are incorporated ’as a sort of honoring ritual to my roots’. The name Nenah itself is spanish slang vaguely translated to ’girl’ actually spelt nena, and is also her mothers nickname.

Sawa Manga
Sawa-Manga is a collaboration between beatsmith D'Vo and writer/vocalist and Is Phi. Their music is an ethereal electronic driven exploration rooted in a fusion of hip hop, r&b, soul and jazz. It is sway, funk, blue flame. Having played at Brainchild Festival, Ghostnotes, Jazz Café, and Stroud Jazz Festival, with an upcoming headline show at The Albany Theatre in Deptford 04 October, they are bringing fresh, forward-thinking yet soulful performances to the table. Their live performance comprises of And Is Phi's vocal flourishes, D'Vo on buttons, keys, and soundscapes, accompanied by a string section composed of Maria Osuchowska on harp, and Mark Mollison on electric guitar.
