Jazmin Morris: Storytelling Through Interactive Fiction

Sat 27 Nov 2021
14.00 - 18.00
£32
Lancaster Rooms
New Wing

A workshop exploring interactive fiction/text-based gaming as a means of meaningful storytelling.

Creative computing artist and educator Jazmin Morris invites you to explore fiction and text by taking the role of game developer in designing a narrative to be executed using the open-source game development platform, Twine.

Attendees will be asked to consider what voices and stories should be heard, then guided through the basic code and design skills needed to develop a web-based game. We invite artists, designers, thinkers, tinkers, coders, activists, hackers and daydreamers to join us in making game narratives more reflective of genuine experiences.

Event presented as part of Mutant Promise: Going Platinum!
