Part of Through our Eyes: Sámi Art and Culture
Katarina Spik Skum will show how to use reindeer hide and pewter thread to create a woven bag charm rooted in the foundations and traditions of duodje (Sámi craftsmanship). The workshop is particularly inspired by the traditions of the Lule Sámi region, where Katarina's family originates and offers a unique opportunity to engage with the living cultural heritage of Sámi people through duodje.
