RYE WAX PRESENTS: MAKE YOUR OWN ‘ZINE  – CELEBRATING VENUES
Writer Emma Warren inspires and leads you to make a fanzine about your favourite nightclub or live music spot, here or abroad. You might want to make a zine about legendary 1980s London hangs like The Wag or a famous Ghanaian basement club, or more recent and iconic venues like Plastic People. These an be places you frequented or dreamed about. Bring ideas, flyers, mementos or none of the above. This will be sound-tracked by DJs for an afternoon of venue celebration.

Emma Warren is a writer, broadcaster and mentor who has been documenting music and culture for two decades. She has a monthly radio show on Worldwide FM and is writing a short book about her current favourite music venue, The Total Refreshment Centre.

LABEL SHOWCASE: ON THE CORNER
On the Corner is a record label with an output focused on mixing forward-thinking Jazz, afro and international influences and experimental electronics. OtC present Charles Vaughan who will be DJing a range of cosmic influences and forthcoming releases, as well as a selection of other works. On The Corner were the winners of Gilles Peterson's Label of the Year 2018.

In collaboration with queeringthemap.com, Accent hosts a drop-in day to share and listen to queer stories on an international scale. See the world reimagined through the first-person stories of queer people across the globe and add your own stories to the project.

Delayed Gratification Magazine are well-known for their creative and beautiful infographics. Come and be part of a real-time data visualisation! Visitors will engage with a series of interactive boards to build up a real time infographic.

DISCOVER.FILM PRESENTS: DISCOVER THE SOUND OF FILM

Since cinema began, films have gone hand-in-hand with music. Many of the most memorable moments in film are supported by the soundtrack, and conversely many unforgettable music videos include great visuals which sent a track stratospheric. Discover.film will host an interactive day of informal discussions, screenings, demonstrations and live performances from a variety of professionals working in both film and music with each guest intrinsically linked. Highlights include a special live performance from British singer and songwriter Sasha Keable who will explain the importance of film in her latest single release, and UK Music Video Awards’ director of the year, Hector Dockrill, who will discuss his inspirations through screening some of his music videos.

LITTLE WHITE LIES PRESENTS: MAKE YOUR OWN ‘ZINE – CELEBRATING ARNIE

The Little White Lies team will be descending upon Somerset House to make a bespoke movie fanzine inspired by the life and work of Austria's finest: Arnold Schwarzenegger. Join us as we put our cut-and-paste skills to the test and produce a miniature magazine, top-to-bottom, which we'll be handing out at that evening's double-bill screenings of Total Recall and A Nightmare on Elm Street.
